Meet Associate Elizabeth Taveras

Elizabeth Taveras is a business attorney specializing in corporate law and commercial litigation.

As a commercial litigator, Ms. Taveras has represented a wide variety of businesses in both state and federal courts as well as in commercial arbitration with the American Arbitration Association.

Before joining Bryant Taylor Law, Ms. Taveras gained experience in insurance litigation where she successfully collected millions of dollars on behalf of homeowners and has also gained representing several businesses involved in both domestic and international trade.

Ms. Taveras, a dean’s list recipient, earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law.  She participated in various legal clinics and internships, including the FIU Law Business Clinic and most notably was part of the first FIU Law Patent Clinic that was approved by USPTO Law School Clinic Certification Program at FIU Law in 2018.

Ms. Taveras has served the community as a judge for the FIU Law Negotiation and Mediation Team and is an active member of the voluntary bar association, Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
